Big Bend Border Wall

Along the Rio Grande, the river carving out the border between Texas and Mexico, the USA has built up huge stretches of 10m high walls. One of the last sections of the border without a metal goliath cutting through it is in Big Bend National Park, where cliffs, extensive desert and harsh terrain form a natural deterrent. Despite environmental concerns and strong pushback from local residents across the political spectrum, Trump’s government is continuing with its plans to extend the wall into this beautiful wild country.
